Research

Doctorate in the Knowledge Society programme at the University of Salamanca. One framework, its publications and the networks where I discuss it.

Vital Interface

The problem
When an organisation brings in AI, its systems start producing decisions nobody inside can fully reconstruct. They work, but the judgement no longer lives in any person.
The explanation
Between what the world presents and what the machine computes there is interpretive work only a person can do. If the organisation stops exercising it, it loses it.
The name
I call that layer the Vital Interface. It is the core of my doctoral research and is published in 2026 as a Springer chapter. The full development will be here once it is in print.
